About the Museum

The Mineral County Museum is located at the corner of Tenth and D Streets in Hawthorne, Nevada. Directly across the street from the rest area on U.S. Highway 95 at the north end of Hawthorne.

Our Summer Hours are from April through October, 11:00 a.m.- 5:00p.m, Tuesday through Saturday. Our Winter Winter Hours are from November through March, 12:00 noon - 4:00 P.M., Tuesday Through Saturday. Other times by Appointment, Call (775) 945-5142 during normal business hours.
